CT Simulation Treatment Planning System provides individualized radiation treatment plans for patients with cancerous tumors. The system can perform a full-body scan or a more targeted scan, such as scanned areas of the brain, chest and abdomen.

CT simulation is one of the most spohisticated tools available. With CT guidance, the accuracy of radiation therapy is ensured. CT guidance allows radiation beam accurancy within a half centimeter of the targeted tissue. In addition, critical organs can be effectively shielded, minimizing unwanted side effects.

IMRT treatment delivery is accomplished via the Clinac iX -Silhouette Edition.

IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy) is a state-of-the-art cancer treatment method that delivers high doses of radiation directly to cancer cells in a very targeted way, much more precisely than is possible with conventional radiotherapy. IMRT can deliver higher radiation doses directly to cancer cells while sparing more of the surrounding healthy tissue.
